Join our crew!

Nothing turns up late, damaged, or unaccounted for. That’s your standard. As Inventory Controller, you’ll own end-to-end control of physical assets across JLR Experience venues, mobile events, pop-ups and partner activations – giving every operations team the confidence that everything they need will be exactly where it should be, exactly when it’s needed.

What you'll do

  • Control end-to-end inventory of all equipment and branded materials across JLR Experience venues and Mobile Drive teams – from radios and recovery gear to demo rigs, POS and giveaways

  • Plan and coordinate delivery and collection schedules for activations, managing storage locations and organising transfers between Fen End, Solihull, Eastnor and Liverpool

  • Ensure correct quantities are issued per activation and all assets are returned, inspected and accurately recorded post-event – every time, without exception

  • Track asset condition and full lifecycle – flagging repairs, replacements and retirements proactively, well before they can become an event-day problem

  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records across systems; conduct periodic audits and event-by-event stock checks to ensure Finance, Insurance and Compliance data is always accurate

  • Flag risks early – shortfalls, overlapping bookings and lead-time issues – especially for high-profile activations where there is absolutely no room for error

  • Ensure all assets meet JLR brand standards, Health & Safety requirements and event-specific compliance rules – tracking PAT testing, insurance records and H&S certifications throughout

  • Support incident reporting for lost or damaged assets, assist with Dynamic Display Equipment deployment pre and post-event, and contribute to continuous improvement of inventory processes

What we're looking for

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing or inventory management – you know how to keep complex asset registers clean and reliable

  • Strong MS Office skills – particularly Excel. You’re comfortable building and maintaining spreadsheets and asset databases

  • Highly organised with sharp attention to detail. Tight lead times and overlapping bookings don’t faze you – you plan ahead and flag risks early

  • Confident behind the wheel, with experience towing trailers and event equipment. A D+E licence is essential for this role

  • Automotive or events industry experience is a strong advantage – but above all, you bring a methodical mind and a genuine pride in getting things right

  • Self-motivated and a reliable team player, comfortable working independently across multiple sites with minimal supervision

  • Full UK driving licence required. D+E Trailer Towing certification is essential
